METHUSELAH WOOD
I've been moving faster
Halfway up the hill
With the wind against me
I'm running standing still
High on this desert mountain
These ancient pines survive
A bristlecone cathedral
For the oldest things alive
Now I'm walking, walking in Methuselah Wood
Now if these pebbles were troubles
We'd all be dragging a ton
But you know it's the struggle
Makes us all so strong
Blasted by an icy wind
'Till a burning sun appears
This old tree's been standing
Close to five thousand years
Now I'm walking, walking in Methuselah Wood
And the feeling from this place
Will be with me all my life
And I'll be walking, walking in Methuselah Wood
Walking, walking in Methuselah Wood
Walking, walking in Methuselah Wood
